Spring Flowers

Spring flowers are out- both wildflowers and blossoms on the trees. It's a beautiful time of year here and I'm excited for the seeds I started inside the house to grow. I transplanted many of them outside already. I hope to have a nice garden this year- with flowers and vegetables (and strawberries).

These are tomato seedlings. I hope to have lots of tomatoes this year! I was surprised because I also started some cucumbers from seed and the cucumber leaves also smell like cucumbers!

We separated flowers by how many petals they have.

When we go on a nature outing I have empty peanut butter jars that I give to each of the kids to pick up little sticks, leaves, or anything else they see that's interesting. My jar. I took home some blossoms found  on the ground and some tree bark to draw.
