Silkworms and Sale

 We have 4 cocoons now for our silkworms! 2 of them made their cocoons in leaves; they rolled up the leaf and made it inside. It's been fun watching them make the cocoons. The worm in the front is in the middle of making his cocoon and there's a cocoon made by another one in the back that's finished already.

Silkworms

 We were given some silkworms from a friend that had a bunch of them. It's been fun seeing them grow and we hope to see a cocoon soon.

Tulips

 Today we went to the botanical gardens with a few other families for a picnic. The kids had lots of fun, but the gardens are becoming more and more commercial. There were quite a lot of shops inside selling snacks and things so the gardens weren't as big or nice as they used to be. 

Spring is here!

 Spring is here and it's beautiful with all the flowers in bloom and the blossoms on the trees. We have to enjoy it before it starts getting hot and humid for the summer (and the mosquitos come out!). We are taking a week's break from homeschooling. We hope to finish homeschool by the end of middle of May.
