We went to the beach two days in a row (the one we can walk to) because it's been so nice lately. However, it'll most likely rain soon. People here (in Southern Oregon) say that when you get a sunny day in the winter, you've gotta enjoy it. I heard that the summer is really nice here- not hot but sunny. It's so nice that we can walk to this beach. Every time we go I have a bag that we fill up with driftwood, seashells, rocks, and other goodies that we find on the beach. The last picture is of driftwood- in different colors.
This blog highlights books and resources for learning about Chinese history and language for children. I hope it's also an encouragement for other homeschool families who are homeschooling bi-lingually or who want to add in some Chinese history into their homeschool.
